Book Review: Garden Bird FactsAmazon is currently showing this book as only being available from their affiliates, which I find very strange. It's a pretty good book! It's laid out very nicely for someone who is "curious about birds" - someone who wants to know things like "why do birds sing" or "how do birds fly" and so on. The graphics and photos in this book are great. It's not just for kids - adults love it too, because it answers many questions that adult birdwatchers wonder just as much as kids do. There are full pages on each bird, with a drawing of the bird, its egg, its feet, and easy to use size and shape guides. It talks about what they eat, how they live, where they're found, and much more. If you can find this book, I'd definitely get it to supplement your normal encyclopedia-style guidebook!
