Duck Photos and Information

Ducks are small aquatic birds that typically live in ponds, streams and lakes. The most common type of duck is the mallard duck. Ducks are considered to be a separate type of bird from the larger geese and swans.

Note that ducks are one family of water bird - and that in SEPARATE families are the birds known as coots, gallinules, grebes and loons. They may look similar, but they aren't ducks!
