Great Blue Heron Information and Photos
The Great Blue Heron is found all over the north American continent. It enjoys streams, rivers and ponds. It enjoys fishing at dusk and dawn.
There is also a great white heron - the white version of the bird.
I recently saw a Great Blue Heron in a stream. Here is my photo of the area, taken from the bridge over the stream.
Now here are some closeups I was able to get, zooming in.
Great blue herons can have a wingspan of 72" or more!
