Chapter Four - The Spirits of Ashenvale
Grom is upset at his job of harvesting lumber. He has to gather up 15,000 lumber. This may sound like a lot, but you'll get 3,000 apiece from taking down the Trees of Life, plus you'll get some uber-harvesters shortly.
So start out by making tons of peons and getting lumber. Also, send your troops (build lots of wolves) west to the gold mine there. Start harvesting from it immediately. Build 3 towers by each base, that'll take down any flyers they send at you. The wolves can ensnare them, but with 3 towers they pretty much die quickly. Research PILLAGE immediately.
Head south for boots of speed guarded by forest spirits. Taking out the Tree of Life there gets you 3,000 lumber plus the subquest to get them all. Just northeast of the gold mine is Neeloc Greedyfingers, a goblin that will give you shredders if you get the furbolgs for him. They're straight west. Head west, take them out, and get a healing stone. Head back to the goblins to report your success and get the shredders. You should hit the 15,000 lumber pretty quickly, and once you do, you're set.
