Grand Theft Auto 3 Walkthrough:
The Getaway
You can only do this mission between 6:00 and 14:00. Just stand in circle before 6 and it'll auto activate.
You will pick up 3 friends at safehouse. You'll need to get to the bank before 6pm. Be sure to start this mission early, just in case. At the safehouse you have to have a car and not have any wanted level before they'll go with you. Taxi works well, need car that hold 3. It's inconspicuous but slow.
Now go to bank. Park with drivers side door against it. Hang out outide. Hear shooting noies. They run out. Cops show up. They are there immediately and are very violent. Drive STRAIGHT into alley where cop-button is to drop 1 cop level immediately. You have to get off 3 star quick otherwise you have a helicopter which is really hard to shake.
Then head towards the liquor store from behind, where you can see its sign over the roof. You should be able to get the star on the roof and land on your wheels. Now you're down to just one star. Just sit tight for a few moments for it to go back down to zero. Take them home and you get $30,000.
If you go right back while you're wanted, they tell you to shake the cops and your level. If you switch cars, the bad guys will switch with you.
