NeverWinter Nights Walkthrough:
The Ritual Chamber
Make sure you do all the quests in this area before proceeding to the Ritual Chamber. Your journals will all erase.
Go in and talk to Lady A, Fenthick, Desther and Lord N. Note that the ritual begins automatically when you finish talking to the fourth so I cycle through all but Lord N to get all the info. In essence Lady A is worried that her relationship with Fenthick has been damaged. Fenthick has allowed Desther to suck power and reduce the protection of the castle. Lord N knows but doesn't care. Sure sign of danger.
Sure enough, they do the ritual, make the cure, and Desther's friends attack. Desther escapes through a portal and Fenthick jumps in after him. Talk to Lord N and Lady A to learn that they are very worrieda bout Fenthick being involved and want you to find out just what is going on. You go in after them!
