These photos are all courtesy of Mensa Gardening SIG members. These Moonfloweres grow in Massachusetts. First, you get the seeds and nick them with a knife so they can open up more easily. Soak them overnight and then plant them. under 1/2" of soil. It takes up to 3 weeks for the seed to germinate and then 2-3 months before they create flowers.
The moon flower is also known as the "evening lily" - they upen up into lovely white flowers in the evening. They are annual vines.
The flowers are up to 6" across. They primarily flower beteween dusk and dawn. The vines can get up to 15' tall.
