The Fuchsia hanging plant originally comes from south America, but of course you find them all over the world now because they are so gorgeous. The petals are a pink color, with inner petals a vibrant purple / violet color. The center stamens are long and pinkish in color.
Growing Information and Photos
We first put our hanging fuchsia out in the bright sunlight and it promptly roasted and almost died. We then moved it into a more shady spot, where it only got soft sunlight, and it began making a ton of buds again. Lesson here - keep your fuchsia in gentle light, not in bright sunlight.
These photos were all taken in mid-August, as the fuchsia was rebuilding itself from the roasting experience :)
These photos are all courtesy of Mensa Gardening SIG members. These Hanging Fuchsias grow in Massachusetts. Enjoy!
