Lantana Photos and Information

I love lantanas. They look like jigsaw puzzle pieces! They are native to tropical regions and grow annually in the northeastern US. From the family Verbenaceae, they come in a variety of color combinations.

These Lantanas grow in Massachusetts. They are an annual here.

First, the ones from my garden in 2011. I was baffled by how they grew (or didn't grow). They are supposed to like light, but they would go from happy to droopy to blossom-filled to no-blossom in the blink of an eye. I am giving them a shot as an indoor plant through the winter.
