Lemon Balm Rub RecipeA rub is great for freshening up your skin!
Leafy tops of lemon balm Pick the leafy tops of lemon balm in the summer after the dew of the morning has evaporated. Wash well and then dry on paper towels. Crush the leaves with a mortar and pestle. Fill a pint jar 1/4 with crushed leaves, then add rubbing alcohol to 1" of the top. Cover tightly. Stand at room temperature for 2 weeks, shaking every few days. Filter through filter paper, then bottle and cork tightly. Use as a rubbing alcohol.
