Mint Photos and InformationMint is an amazing herb. When you get seeds, it is apparently a mix of spearmint, peppermint, and other mints. You sniff each leaf to see which ones you want to use. Mint can help improve your memory! It also helps you to fall asleep.
Mint is supposed to repel ants and mice, so we planted mint around the edges of our house. Not only does it naturally keep the house pest-free, but it smells delightful as well.
Here's when it first went in on July 10th, 2011.
Only 11 days later, it was already thriving!
This is in August 2012, a different planting. It lasted the winter and got bushy!
This is in July 2014, along the side of the house.
Mint is delightful in teas! We are in Massachusetts and the mint survived the winter without any problem.
