Slugs Photos and InformationI hate slugs. They eat up a variety of garden plants. I pick them off my squash and tomatoes and a few days later they are back again in force. I admit that I can't bring myself to cut them up, as many recommend. I toss them far into the woods. Undoubtedly they just crawl their sluggy little way back into my garden. I hear that slugs are migratory. While most of our slugs are on our squash plants, there was an intrepid slug that climbed up one of our tomato plant, stretching himself out into a thin line in the process!
Here's one of the slugs. We just fling them into the woods.
