The winner of the genealogy Site of the Month Award for April, 2001 is Helmīs Genealogy Toolbox.

The Toolbox is a mammoth collection of links related to genealogy. The links are subdivided into eight categories to help the user locate the necessary topic quickly. The site is very easy to navigate and loads quickly. A genealogy-specific search engine will assist you in finding what you are looking for without getting lots of links that do not really pertain to genealogy.

Another nice addition to the Toolbox are the DigiSources, a small collection of U.S. Census and military records that have been digitized. Your browser must be Java-enabled to view these images.
