Super 8 and 8mm Film Sizing
If you have old rolls of Super 8 or 8mm film lying around the house, how many feet of film do they have on them? Most processing companies charge by the foot.
8mm / Super 8 Reel Sizes
3" diameter = 50 feet of film = 4 minutes
5" diameter = 200 feet of film = 15 minutes
6" diameter = 300 feet of film = 22 minutes
7" diameter = 400 feet of film = 30 minutes
Average conversion prices range from 25 cents per foot to $1 per foot and higher.
