Pandigital 8" Digital Photo Frame I have always wanted to have a digital photo frame, one that could easily rotate through all of my favorite digital photos. I have literally thousands and thousands of digital photos, plus many old photos that I have scanned in. Every time I was about to break down a buy a digital photo frame, I was so disappointed by the quality of the image that I held off.
When I saw the Pandigital 8" digital photo frame in a store display, my hopes began to rise. It actually looked like they had finally gotten the quality levels right! At 8", this is a nicely sized image - it's not tiny and squished. But could that large image be high enough quality that you'd actually enjoy looking at it? It turns out it is! We loaded our frame up with literally hundreds of high quality images. It was incredibly easy to do this. In our case, we just load them on an extra memory stick we had lying around anyway, and stick that into the side of the frame. POOF! No cables, no work, no nothing. The frame sees the memory stick, starts showing the pictures, with no work at all. You can customize the rotation rate, the transition type, and all sorts of other features. There's even a remote. But really, though, the frame is perfect as is right out of the box. You put it on your desk, every few minutes a new picture shows up, and you're treated to an ever-changing, always interesting set of images. It's perfect for a mother's day / father's day gift, for birthdays, for the holidays, you name it. And the beauty is that you can customize memory sticks for different seasons. So you can have Christmas photos running during the holidays, a sequence of birthday photos during a birthday party, and much more. The frame is just so great for giving to a relative, already loaded full of family photos. It's of course great to buy for yourself too :) I can't see why anyone would have a static photo of one image any more, with this being available. Instead of having one image of your honeymoon on your desk, you could have 40 images, of all the different fun things you did. Instead of 'tuning out' the photo after a few hours - as tends to happen with a static one - there's always something new and interesting when you glance over. Everyone who sees this thing ends up wanting one for themself :) Highly, highly recommended! Buy the Digital Photo Frame from Amazon.com
