Converting VHS to DVD
Five years ago, it was great to gather your old Super 8 movies and VHS movies onto VHS casettes. Nowadays we know that VHS tapes are prone to melting and decay. How do you get those VHS tapes onto DVDs?
Converting Super 8 to VHS
The first step, if you haven't done it already, is to get everything onto VHS. If you have any old Super 8 or other types of video, at least get everything into a VHS format. That way you have a common ground from which to move forward.

The Adaptec VideOh! device is very simple. Your VHS tape recorder plugs into one side with the normal three-connector input. The other side is a USB 2.0 connector that plugs into your computer. The signal goes from your VHS tape right into your computer!
