Adding Web Notes for your DVD

You've created your genealogy DVD from old Super 8 or VHS tapes. Now it's time to make sure the information about those DVDs is saved for everybody to understand.

Once you've distributed copies of the DVD out to everybody, start asking for feedback. Set up a webpage that lists each chapter of your DVD, with the basic information that you know about it. Ask each recipient to add their own comments about the chapter - who they recognize, where it took place, what they remember.

Each time you get notes from a person, let everybody know so they can come read the notes. The memories from one person might remind another person of something special, and so on. Each time more memories are added to your webpage, the more information other people might be able to supply.

Soon your webpage will have a good amount of data about the people and events shown in the DVD. This will help future generations understand and appreciate just what the clips in this DVD are all about!
