Rum and Coke Recipe

Cuba Libre

A rum and coke was also called a cuba libre. From Lisa Waller: This was probably the first drink I really tried at around age 14. I remember my mom being surprised that I knew what a "Coke and Bacardi" was, that I would know the name of a rum. They were nice because you could put just a smidgen of rum in and feel like you were "drinking" without having to taste it, when you were at a party where others were drinking. I never really liked beer much. I drank a ton of these right up into my late 20s when I got tired of them.
2 oz rum
1 oz lime juice
fill with coke
