My name is Raymond Phelan. My GGG Grandfather came over from County Killkenny in 1831 with his wife Susana (Whittaker). They settled in Stratford, Ontario with their eight children. One of their sons, my GG Grandfather John Jr., was married to Bridget O'Shea. Bridget has been refered to "Sarah of Balmarl" in family documents. Do you have any idea what this means?
