I have a great-grandfather Michael Shea, born in early 1830's in Cork. he emigrated during famine years to western New York, raising a family and duing in 1800s in Cuba, NY. His wife's name was Ellen McCarthy -- but i do not know if he married here on in Ireland. Among children were Dan, Katie, Abbie (my grandmother). No arrival date. No ship known.
