Betsy Oxendine from Robeson is the daughter of Charles Oxendine, born 1741 and therefore the granddaughter of the famous < A HREF="john.html">John Oxendine from Virginia, the beginning of all Oxendines!

Betsy had at least two children. We know this because two of her kids were taken away from her.

1782:
She had "John" who was "a mullattoe base born child" who was given to Neil McRainy in the Cumberland County Court on Oct 28 1786.

1787:
She had "Nance" a "mulato" girl who was given to James Dyer, Esquire on Oct 28 1788.
