The apartment they take in Bath is in the most fashionable part and is thought to be the best apartment in town. In both the 2008 and the 1971 version is it very nicely appointed.
1971 BBC version -
The 1995 version was lovely and airy.
The 2008 version is extremely gilt and elaborate.
