Caroline Bingley is the stuck-up sister of "Mr. Bingley". Her main purpose in Pride & Prejudice is to chase after Darcy, and to serve as an antagonist to Jane and Lizzie. She makes many of the pointed barbs to the two sisters. Caroline goes on and on about how accomplished all young ladies should be, including a manner of speaking and walking.
