Dashwood Cottage - Sense and Sensibility
The Dashwood Cottage is where the family is "exiled" to after the father has died.1995 Sense and Sensibility
The cottage is really peaceful and pastoral, pretty and quaint. No piano for poor Marianne!
2008 Sense and Sensibility
The cottage is more rough here, looking much more run down. It's in a gorgeous wild location right near the sea. It's much more clearly a "far cry" from their previous mansion. There is already a piano here for Marianne.
1981 Sense and Sensibility
This is the worst cottage of the three. It's a nice house on a nice street right in town. While it's not a mansion, it's hardly a rustic, wild location. They have a piano right there waiting for them.
