Sole Proprietor Restaurant Review

The Sole Proprietor is located right next to WPI in Worcester and has a widespread reputation for their fantastic seafood. When we had friends up from RI we took them to the Sole, and our company Christmas party was held there.

Their wine list is excellent, and just about anything on the menu is excellent. I've ordered all sorts of fish and appetizers and have been pleased each time. The place is a bit shiny-wood-and-glass, so it's not exactly "comfy" and can get a bit loud. But the waitstaff aims to please. They're not very good about serving wines at the right temperature, but a few words can usually straighten that out.

A bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for prime seafood and a quality experience.

Dress: Nice - skirts, dresses, collared shirts, nice jeans are OK
Staff: Quite friendly and helpful, willing to do extras to please
