Terminator Series

Yes, in some ways the Terminator series are sort of hokey sci-fi with plot holes. But on the other hand, they really did manage to get a large number of people thinking about alternate time streams and issues of overreaching development. Sometimes you have to use crude methods to be able to reach the masses with these thoughts :)
