Kicker Cards in Poker

A kicker is how you break ties in poker. Let's say that you and your oppenent both have "four of a kind". Both of them match evenly, no matter what the cards in that four of a kind happen to be. But both of you have extra cards in your hand. If one of you has a king as your "kicker card" and the other one has a 2, then the person with the king wins.

Some hands don't have a kicker card, but with the kicker card, that is how you break a tie.

Order of the cards:
ace - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10 - J - Q - K - ace
