At the River's Edge
In the previous episode Belson is saved by his friends from a female assassin who played him. You would think he'd be grateful. But just like with the abortion episode previously, they seem to have no continuity at all. Belson is right back to being his same old self and annoying the rest of them. I wish they had the episodes flow together more smoothly.
A young woman is slain, and her parents don't seem to care about it. They're too busy enjoying Bermuda. So it's up to the younger sister, almost 13, to draw from her 100,000 annuity and hire Spenser to figure out what is going on. It turns out a TV preacher who fills the Boston Garden was also spending time with the innocent young girl. His wife wasn't too keen on this.
The preacher tries to come clean, but the wife again interferes.
