Movies Set in the Florida Keys

I am a HUGE fan of watching movies about a location before you go there. It helps you learn more about the culture, the environment and the atmosphere of a place, so when you get there, you really understand what is going on!

The Florida Keys are SO unique, it's really valuable to learn about them before you visit. This isn't a beach resort. There are practically no beaches! This is a coral reef that grew up out of the ocean and is responsible for destroying THOUSANDS of boats over the years. The islands were initially populated by people who salvaged from those wrecks. Sure, a highway connects the islands now. But for quite a long time, they were all separate, all only visitable by boat, and quite isolated. This is a place of hearty fishermen. That's a critical thing to understand.
