Set as a steamy cop thriller in the Florida Keys, this time the action is on the imaginary Banyan Key. Denzel Washington is the police chief and Eva Mendes is his soon to be ex wife. Denzel is hooking back up with an old flame when murder and intrigue interfere, and soon he has only a few hours to try to clear his name.

Not really filmed in the keys, but around Miami for the natural heat. The actors said that the heat almost became a 'character' in the film because it was so amazingly powerful.
