I've always loved Irish history and culture - on our trips to Ireland we've enjoyed seeing the beautiful lands which served as backdrops to these fine movies. Of course, we had to dodge the many fake tourist traps along the way! "The Field" pub. "The Quiet Man" Inn. Ah well ...

The Nephew 1989From a visitor: It was about a young man half black and half Irish who came in Ireland to bury his mother. He finds out the reason his mother left home for the US. He falls in loves with one of the young Ireland women that the family becomes upset because of the young man's mother's past. Starring Donal McCann, Pierce Brosnan, Sinead Cusack and Hill Harper. Directed by Eugene Brady.
