Wood
Wood beads are my personal favorite for creating origami for my own home. Their organic nature, their gorgeous colors and their soft texture seem to go very well with the paper crane they support. It seems fitting that a paper work of art is associated with a wood bead.
This collection shows the variety of colors wood beads can come in. It works well to choose a matching color - perhaps natural wood beads for white cranes, or green beads for green cranes. It also works nicely to choose an off-setting color - for example black beads with white cranes if your event is a formal black-and-white one.
