Origami Mobile Design

I do my very best to package my origami mobiles so they arrive at your location immediately ready to hang up. However, threads being what they are, there is always a chance that the thread will tangle up and perhaps even pull loose, depending on how energetic the shipping people are in throwing the boxes around.

Here is how my origami mobile is put together, in the very slight chance that something goes awry with your shipment.

First, a photo of how an origami mobile looks -

I mark each connection point with a dot of gold ink. This will let you know where I have superglued the string to the wood, so that you can reglue it if it comes loose. Superglue should last through anything, but sometimes life creates an unstoppable force :)

The loop itself is a standard slip knot - just loop the thread end around itself. You can see how this works here -
