Six Crane Origami Mobile
All of my origami mobiles are hand created to order, with your chosen paper style and bead options. The six crane mobiles represent the art of the mobile reduced to its most basic essence. A mobile requires motion, and you most certainly get beautiful motion with the two hanging dowels. The cranes circle around each other in a delicate dance. Where the 8-crane mobiles can get a little "busy" at times with all the cranes coming and going, with the six crane style, the space and movement is a perfect balance.
It's all up to you, of course! Some people adore the six crane minimalism, while others crave the busy excitement of the eight crane mobile.
The six crane mobile can be made in either traditional symmetrical style, or in the more eclectic asymmetrical style. Click on any image below to see a full page of images and descriptions of that mobile.

Safety Note: These mobiles have small parts - the little beads used to keep the cranes on the strings. This means they are NOT safe for little babies! While you could hang a window mobile in a window, far from the crib, please make sure not to hang any of these mobiles in a location where a baby might get his or her hands on it. We want to keep the little tykes safe!
