Origami Wedding Invitation Ideas
Every relationship is unique. Every couple thrives on their own combination of personalities and interests. This is why a wedding is so special - it is the celebration of how these two individuals met up and fell in love, to create a joyful relationship. The wedding invitation shares that joy and love with their friends and family.
Rather than going with a stock invitation, I can create a wide range of personalized invitations for you which perfectly match your interests, color themes, and backgrounds. The crane is the traditional symbol of life-long joy, fidelity and happiness - but there are many other options to choose from. If you both love cats, the invitation could display a pair of cats snuggled up together. If you love butterflies, the invitation can provide an actual origami butterfly.
Most wedding invitations are thrown out (or recycled!) after they are read. These invitations will be works of art, displayed on mantles and treasured forever. The only restriction would be that the shape should be a relatively two dimensional shape to fit in your envelope. An Empress doll works perfectly - but a blown-up balloon would probably not fit :)
In addition to actual origami invitations, I can provide flat-printed invitations with an origami theme. For example, let us say that the dove - a Biblical bird with many spiritual connotations - was chosen as the symbol of your wedding. I could create an invitation which featured an origami dove as its theme -
Similarly I could create an invitation to use your own particular colors, shapes and meanings.
