Amethyst Spiral - Polymer Clay Pendants

I love amethyst, the rich purple stone which traditionally is associated with wine. I also connect greatly with the imagery of the spiral, representing the path we all take through life.

Amethyst Spiral Polymer Clay Pendant Amethysts have many meanings - spirituality, royalty, enjoying what life gives you each day. I love sea imagery, and added a river of waves across the center of the piece. On the right is a golden spiral, reminding me that each path we choose to walk is very important. We can never turn back time - we can only choose wisely where our future steps will take us.

I made this piece by creating a well for the gemstones, but then baking the pendant without the gemstone attached. I then super-glued it into place once the pendant had cooled.
