Malachite Pair - Polymer Clay Pendants

Malachite is a favored stone of my darling sister. These stones represent the strength and love of our sisterhood, and the beauty of the life that surrounds us.

Malachite was adored by the Greeks and Egyptians, and no wonder - the rich green color, the textures. Malachite represents hope and peace. It is the guardian stone of security, of travel.

I made this piece by creating wells for the gemstones, but then baking the pendant without the gemstones attached. I then super-glued them into place once the pendant had cooled.
