Japanese Love Scroll - Polymer Clay Pendants

This polymer clay pendant is designed to resemble a traditional Japanese scroll. The kanji symbol drawn on the gold area represents love.

Japanese Love Scroll Polymer Clay Pendant I love Japanese kanji. They have meaning in the basic form, in that the symbol represents a word. But it's more than that. Where the English word "love" is just a series of letters, the Japanese kanji actually was originally shaped to present a visual image. I have the original kanji of this hanging in my bedroom, hand drawn on a red sheet of washi paper. It pleases me greatly to have this smaller, portable representation of that love to wear in my daily life.
