Organizing Jewelry

Jewelry can quickly get out of control even on the smallest budget. Friends give you jewelry, you get jewelry as birthday or Christmas presents, and you pick up inexpensive jewelry to match various outfits. Soon you have a number of earrings and necklaces, and it's hard to look through them when it's time to wear something.

I highly recommend getting a display-oriented system for storing your jewelry. This is mine.

Organizing Jewelry

The idea is that you can appreciate all of your jewelry every day. They bring you and beauty to your life. Also, it's easier to scan them and see which one works well for the current need. It also helps you see which ones you're just not wearing any more. Those should be passed along to friends and family who might wear them and love them. That way the jewelry can be out and used, which is its purpose in life!
