Roomba Red Robot - 2004
In 2004, the iRobot team created 2 new robots to take up the torch of the Roomba line. The Roomba Red was the cheaper of these 2 robots, selling for only $150. It was a great way to lure in even more people to try the fantastic little Roomba robot.
Being the cheap little sister, the Roomba was a basic setup. You got one virtual wall, to keep your Roomba in the area you wanted. Like the initial Roomba, the Roomba Red didn't know how to "go home" - you had to bring it to the charging station yourself. It took 7 hours to charge up.
