Biscochitos - Mexican Cookies Recipe
Biscochitos are traditional Mexican cookies made with flour, sugar and anise.
8 cups flour
2 cups shortening
2 cups sugar
3 Tbsp baking powder
2 Tbsp anise
1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 cup milk
Mix together flour, shortening, sugar, baking powder, anise, and salt. Then blend in the eggs. Finally mix in the milk. Roll out to around 1/8" thick and cut with fun cookie cutter shapes.
Bake at 400F for 15 minutes. Cool and enjoy!
