Approximate Equivalents of U.S. to Metric Measures
If you're trying to convert from metric to US measurements or visa versa, here are some rough estimations of the measurements involved.
1/8 Teaspoon = 0.5 ml
1/4 Teaspoon = 1 ml
1/2 Teaspoon = 2 ml
1 Teaspoon = 5 ml
3 Teaspoons or 1 Tablespoon = 15 ml
1/4 Cup = 60 ml
1/3 Cup = 90 ml
1/2 Cup = 120 ml
3/4 Cup = 180 ml
1 Cup = 240 ml or .24 liters
2 Cups or 1 Pint = .47 liters
4 Cups or 1 Quart = .95 liters
4 Quarts or 1 Gallon = 3.8 liters
1 Ounce = 28 Grams
16 Ounces or 1 Pound = 454 Grams or .45 Kilograms
