Chocolate Heart Cookies Recipe
Perfect for any romantic event, these chocolate heart cookies are crispy, delicious and easy to make!
Ingredients:
1 c semisweet chocolate pieces
1/4 c light-colored corn syrup
2 Tbsp butter
3 c crisp rice cereal
2 Tbsp butter for greasing
In a saucepan mix together the chocolate, corn syrup and butter. Heat to a low temperature and mix until melted. Stir in the rice cereal.
Put a piece of waxed paper on a cookie sheet. Grease the waxed paper with butter. Press the mixture onto the sheet in a 12x6 shape. Chill for 20 minutes, then cut into hearts with a cookie cutter or knife. Serve chilled.
