Bee and Bees - Dream SymbolsThink of all the images we have of bees. They fiercely protect their home from invaders. They are super busy, zooming from flower to flower. They are fat and lazy in the summer. There are even attacks of the killer bees! So how does the bee appear in your dream? The way the bee appears relates to its meaning. Here are some samples. Busy Bee Probably the most common metaphor is the busy bee. The bee zips and zooms, always collecting honey, always on the job. This is the worker bee. If your dream had a busy, active bee, it could represent the life you are leading - always busy, always head down, focussed on tasks. It might be time to take a step back and relax a bit. Protective Bee Think of all the bear stories that have the lumbering bear going after the honey, with the swarm of bees valiantly defending their home with their life. It may be a sign that you feel your own world is under attack, that you have to put up a fight to be the way you want to be. Lazy Summer Bee Was your dream about a lazy, droning bee? Then it might be that you are looking forward to some rest and relaxation - to take a break from the stress of life. Harmful Bee Bees of course can sting - although for most bees this causes their death! It's not something they do wildly, like mosquitoes. It's a last resort of self protection. If a bee stung you in a dream, why did you antagonize it? By accident? On purpose? Who might you be 'bothering' in your real life? Animal Dream Symbols Dream Symbol Dictionary
