Dream Symbols - Mouse
Are you having dreams that involve a mouse or mice? There are many different meanings a mouse can have!
First, the traditional "eeek - it's a mouse!" type of dream. Dreams are often used in movies as a silly threat that people have wild reactions to. People jump up onto chairs to hide from this tiny mouse.
If your dream has this element in it, it means that something you are worried about in real life is a minor problem that you are blowing out of proportion. If you would take a deep breath and just handle the problem, it wouldn't be bad at all.
A mouse can also be the Mickey Mouse type of comic character - someone a bit goofy and loyal, friendly and fun. If the mouse in your dream is fun and friendly, it could stand for a good friend of yours, or maybe your hope that you find that sort of friend soon.
Finally, a mouse is a very helpless creature, easy prey for snakes and birds. If your dream has a mouse running around trying to escape from harm, it means that you feel helpless in front of some sort of overwhelming force in your life. You feel it is threatening you and there is nothing you can do about it. If that's the case, find some way to cope with that threat. Sometimes you can actually manage the threat, but sometimes the threat is indeed completely out of your control. If that's the case, ask for help!
