Dreaming about running can mean many things. Are you running to get somewhere you want to be? Are you running away from an attacker?
Running and speed are often associated with freedom. So if you're just running along a road or meadow, enjoying the thrill of speed, it probably is a desire or joy with freedom. You enjoy that ability to go where you want to, do head towards your goals.
On the other hand, if you are running to find safety - because someone is chasing you or something bad is about to happen - then that running shows the action you need to be safe. It shows that you can't just wait around and hope for things to get better. You have to take action now to find the results you want, to enjoy the aftermath of the situation you're in.
