Village Naturals Spa Body Creme review

This cream is one of my favorite creams to use at the end of the day. It comes in a "calming lavender and chamomile" blend which is not tested on animals. It says it is enriched with aloe, vitamin E and coca butter.

Now first, when you use a lotion, you are spreading it on the very top layer of your skin - the epidermis layer. There are no blood vessels in this layer and it sloughs off every 2-4 weeks naturally. So really you are spreading the lotion into a layer of dead skin. Your aim is to help this layer look smooth and beautiful, and for it to be hydrated. The lotion definitely does this. But claims of adding vitamins to dead skin cells is sort of meaningless. Many studies have shown that lotions help the outward appearance, but do not soak into the actual 'meaningful' layers of the skin.

That all being said, this lotion is a lovely lavender color, and has a very soothing aroma. The texture is quite nice, smooth and gentle. I really enjoy using this as a restful relaxant at the end of the day - putting it on my feet and then putting soft socks over them.

Well recommended
