Nail Growth and Nail CarePeople always wonder just how quickly fingernails grow and how to get them to grow more healthily. Fingernails are of course a part of your body, and therefore they are greatly influenced by the vitamins you ingest. The more you take your daily vitamins and drink 8-10 glasses of water a day to help them circulate, the most healthy your nails will grow! I had my nails done on February 10, 2008 for a regency era dinner (think Jane Austen). They were done at a professional salon with an undercoat, several layers of color, then a top coat. They were dried with a hot air dryer. I then tried to take as good care of them as I could to see both how long the polish would last and how quickly the nails grew. Note that I was "trimming the tops" because I type all day and can't handle long nails, but you can see the growth in the distance of the color from the cuticle.
So these images are about exactly 3 months after the nail polish was put on. The bottom "ridge" on the thumbnails is still relatively crisp, so that really is where the polish hit my skin when it was first put on. So it looks like your nails are about half replaced after 3 months. Skin Care Lotions, Masks, Soap Reviews
