Smile Exercises - CheeksWhen you do smile exercises, you are getting your face muscles in shape so that when you DO smile, it looks natural, healthy and full. You don't want your face to look rigid or stretched - those make your face look aged and angry. You might not realize it, but a key part of how you smile is how your cheeks look. Your lips have a cheek "background" and if the cheeks look tight and stretched, it makes the whole smile look like a grimace. Healthy cheeks are important!
