BookEnds LLC - Getting Your Book Published

BookEnds LLC is a very small publishing house. I was drawn to them because they are very supportive of new writers, and they are very green-minded. Since I run a large women's website where I train women to be writers, I thought this was the perfect fit for me. I would most definitely want to support a publisher which operated in the same manner.

BookEnds had an online submission form, so I went that route. I wrote in on December 19, 2007 explaining my background and history. I even offered to put the power of BellaOnline behind promoting their existing authors with reviews and interviews.

I didn't hear anything at all back until April 18, 2008, so over 4 months later. I got a three sentence form letter which said "sorry". I realize small publishers are busy, but this still seemed to be extreme, to have such a long time delay if they were not going to think even slightly about what I was proposing.
